Reid’s story – photographer, poet, silver and goldsmith, teacher of science, math and art. He paints in the field, out-of-doors, in the company of ground squirrels, birds, bugs, sun, fog, rain and sometimes friends.

“There’s an intensity in ‘plein air’ painting…you must be present in every detail of the day. I like that. It becomes exhilarating, humbling, frustrating and full of wonder.”
